| 1 head red cabbage sliced thin
6 slices bacon (optional)
1 large yellow onion sliced thin as cabbage
4 bay leaf
6 juniper berries
4 cloves
½ cup red wine vinegar
½-cup apple juice
½ stick butter
¼-cup sugar
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp cinnamon

Fry the bacon in a large pot and do not drain.
Place the rest into the pot and simmer until the cabbage
is soft. Stir frequently.
